Jo Jo O'Neal

A native of DeLand, Florida, JoJo studied Radio/Television Broadcasting at the University of Central Florida and has been an Orlando based, full time radio personality since 1984. During that time she simultaneously spent seven years as Floor Director and Camera Operator for Channel 9 Eyewitness News Daybreak (WFTV-Orlando).

Currently JoJo can be heard weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Orlando's #1 radio station for today's R&B and Throwbacks, Star 94.5 FM. She's also heard weekdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in Jacksonville, Florida on Hot 99.5, Duval's ONLY R&B. She has been with CMG Orlando (Cox Media Group) since 1994. JoJo's familiar voice has been heard in commercials, videos, tutorials and e-books worldwide. She does freelance work as a voice actor.

Diagnosed with asthma in 2004, JoJo is also President and Founder of the Let's Kick Asthma Foundation, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization. Her mission is to educate people about asthma and help patients learn how to live and breathe better with the condition. The organization offers support groups and outreach services to asthma patients for assistance with their day-to-day needs.

JoJo is a past member of the Leadership Advisory Board of the American Lung Association in Florida.

As a hobby she enjoys strength training and has competed in fitness competitions in the Orlando area. Other interests include going to the beach, reading, and riding motorcycles. JoJo's also a former beauty pageant contestant, dancer/choreographer and baton twirling instructor.

JoJo is married to Roy O'Neal, the Southeast Regional Director of the Odessa Chambliss Quality of Life Fund, a family organization that offers scholarships to nursing students.

The O'Neals have two adult daughters, two grandsons, and two great-grandchildren!
