I lost my grandfather, Sy Beckerman, to lung cancer over twenty years ago. Unfortunately my grandfather started smoking when he was a teenager and lost his life when he was only 62 years old. He was a funny, charismatic and an overall great guy, who died too young as a result of an addictive smoking habit. He tried to quit smoking but unfortunately it was too late before lung cancer ravished his mind & body. He died when I was just 13 years old. I participate in the Fight For Air Climbs and LUNG FORCE Walks in his memory.
