My mom. She was born April 28, 1928. I loved her with all my soul. I talked to her every day. She was indeed my Best Friend. She died on October 11, 2009. In my arms. I watched her take her last breath. I watched as life left her with a big sigh. I thought I was going to die. I made sure the last words she heard from me were: "I LOVE YOU." Lung Cancer. It took her fast. Diagnosed in late August. Gone in early October. Dorothy Ruth Cortez (maiden name Saunders). I will love you FOREVER. Love your Daughter Ruthanne.
