I have been an asthma suffer all my life needing inhalers and antihistamines. I will turn 61 this year.
I really suffered badly with my asthma in 2011. I was in and out of the hospital at least four times, and each time I received breathing treatments and was sent home. The underlying problem was not addressed until my new pulmonary specialist tested me while I walked the halls of his office. I could not get above 89% oxygen; a healthy person should be in the 90's, so something had to be done.
On April 20, 2011, I was placed on 2Lpm oxygen boost 24 hours a day, seven days a week. So as you can see, I need clean air, as I have difficulties just getting a single breath. (I sit writing this with a nasal tube feeding me oxygen.)
