I have had asthma since I was a child. My father smoked constantly before we knew the effects of cigarette smoke. He didn't believe it hurt me and said it was all in my head.

I have allergies also. The public needs to be educated about air pollution from smokestacks, car exhaust, wood burning to fireplace smoke. Otherwise, our future will involve more people with asthma, heart problems, stroke, etc.
