I would be elated if we could go back to the 55mph limit!!! As it is, I do drive at that speed and stay 5mph slower in town. I shut off my engine when I am sitting in a line at a food place or doing banking. I lived in San Diego, CA, in the 60's and early 70's. My family and I moved to the high desert to get away from the pollution because of the allergies that I had. It helped a lot! When I got older, I came to Sioux Falls, SD. It was the smog, not the pollen. I found that out when I got here. I believe that if we could improve the Air Quality, we could get rid of some of the lung problems and allergies.
