My mother lost her five-month battle with stage 4 small cell lung cancer in January. She was truly an inspiration throughout her journey and she battled it with bravery and courage. She tried everything under the sun to defeat this evil disease and was always optimistic. I will miss her forever but will continue to fight for a future without cancer.
